  • Cushioning a car seat to reduce shocks? 1792

     06-13-2009, 11:29 PM

    Hello;

    what would you advise for a person whose backbone is in poor condition so every time the car hits a pothole she winces with pain.

    I have been thinking of a memory-foam cushion but I think they are too "slow" for this purpose - would not absorb well this kind of a split-second impact.

    I hope somebody will say I am wrong, in which case I will rush to buy one of those. Or please suggest something else.

    Thanks in advance, Leszek.
