  • Self care and hygiene 1057

    Hello,

My mum is 87, still active and living in her own home but her personal hygiene is not all that it could be in terms of washing both herself and her clothes.

Has anyone managed to find a way of dealing with this without causing great personal offence?

    Any suggestions welcome.

What kind of facilities has she got, for washing self and clothes? A walk-in/step-in shower perhaps, and a modern washing machine?

My husband and I have, over the last few days, had a very nasty tummy bug, the effects of which have been quite obvious and quite time-consuming.  And I do not know HOW we would have coped if we didn't have the above modern facilities.

    Just a thought.
