AMD Research

The Research House is a market research agency which specialises in conducting surveys amongst members of the medical profession and patients who are treated for related conditions.

We are currently conducting a study on age-related macular degeneration. We need input from AMD patients to take part in a one on one in-depth interview on 9th June 2008 in our central London facility on Wigmore Street.

The interview itself will take approximately 60 minutes to complete and the information respondents provide will be used for statistical purposes only. Neither the identity of the participant, nor any of information, would be revealed to any third party. Strict confidentiality is assured.

Appointment times on the day start at 12 pm and finish at 8 pm. 

The information gathered from the research will be used to improve the very limited treatments currently available for the condition which is the most common cause of sight loss in people over 50 in the Western world, affecting 500,000 people in the UK alone.

As a token of our appreciation participants will receive an incentive of £75.
