i really need some advice regarding my father in law who is retired with his wife and lives in spain near us.he is recieving full state pension and also recievss a private pension.he is also having to pay uk tax.now then my mother in law has had a severe stroke(he is also recovering from bowel cancer)i have been trying to find out if he can claim attendance allowance whilst living here but i just keep hitting a brick wall.we know if they return to the uk they will claim all the necessary benefits but we are there only family and do our best to help out.at the moment he is suffering fianancely because of the exchange rate.what i cant understand is that he still gets the winter fuel allowance but i have been told he cant claim anything whist living here..both my in-laws are 66 and dad has worked all his life paying his contrbutions.he thought moving near us would be for a happy retirement but unfortunatley thats not happenend.i would appreciate any advice as i have tried several web sites but to no avail on any advice.
