    Hi all

We are wondering what to do about mother. Against our (her five children's) advice she took up with a man in  a caravan 7 years ago. She had dementia 7 years ago and now it is worse.

Our dad left her very well off. She sold the family home and bought a new home out right. We now know her chap has his name on the deeds. We think he has taken all her assets since she has no clue about anything. He has changed her exsisting will excluding any of us as beneficiaries, Her chap is abusive when we attempt to find out what is going on. They never married apparently because she would have lost one of her pensions if she had of done so.

We are worrried because we do not want to be financially liable for mother's care in the event that her bloke dies taking all her money and leaving it to his family leaving her with nothing.

Has anyone else had experiece of this sort of thing? What should we do next?
