May is all about
enjoying the sunshine and getting active, whether that's competing in a
running event or cycling challenge, or living more dangerously and taking part in
a skydive. No matter what you choose to do you will help to make a positive difference to the lives of disadvantaged older people.

done and thank you to all of our marathon runners, every one of whom
made it over the finish line! Despite the heat, an enjoyable day was
had by runners and supporters alike. We're hoping to

Imagine
standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at
10,000 feet. Imagine leaning forward out of that doorway and
letting go, freefalling through the clouds at 120mph. Are you ready for excitement, exhilaration and the experience of a lifetime?
A trip or fall may
sound trivial,
but it's the most
common form of accident in the over-65's and can lead to loss of mobility and
independence. Help the Aged raises awareness that falls
aren't an inevitable
part of ageing
through an annual campaign, and produces
reports and
resources on preventing falls.
Help the Aged launches intune - a new financial
service company providing fuss-free, competitively
priced financial products and services tailored to the needs
of the over-50s.
