Everyone aged over 60 can get a free sight test. You could also get help with the cost of a dental check-up or treatment, your glasses, or even fares to and from hospital for treatment.
You may still be eligible for some help even if you don't claim Pension Credit, but you will have to apply for it. Your dentist, optician or hospital should have the form you need.
