Pension Credit
8. The Pension Service
If you live in England, Wales or Scotland, Pension Credit and State Retirement Pension are dealt with by The Pension Service, which is part of the Department for Work and Pensions. The normal way to deal with The Pension Service is over the phone by calling 0845 60 60 265. If you want someone to visit you then you can ask for that to happen. The visit may not be as quick or convenient as you would like, but this should be arranged for you.
If you live in Northern Ireland, the Pension Service comes under the Social Security Agency. If you would like more information about Pension Credit you can call the Pension Service Enquiry Line on 0845 601 8821 or go to your local social security agency.
