SeniorLine advisor taking a callAsk an adviser

Need help claiming benefits or entitlements? Call SeniorLine for free advice on a range of welfare rights issues.

Our trained advice workers can help with issues such as:

  • claiming benefits;
  • housing options;
  • getting help at home; and
  • entitlement to a bus pass.

SeniorLine is free, impartial and confidential and aims to enable as many callers as possible to take action themselves. Alternatively, we can supply details of relevant local or national organizations. When you call, you may be asked appropriate questions to ensure that we have all the relevant facts and can explore all the options available.

There are some types of help that SeniorLine staff are unable to offer:

  • SeniorLine cannot take individual cases or offer advice work.
  • The advice workers are not trained in counselling or legal matters, neither can they offer medical advice.
  • Financial advice is restricted by the terms of the Financial Services Act 1986.
  • SeniorLine does not recommend tradespeople.

Call SeniorLine today on 0808 800 6565. Lines are open Monday to Friday 9am-4pm. Calls may be monitored by the service manager for quality and training purposes.
