Age Concern and Help the Aged is looking for an inspirational person to champion the benefits of getting online.

You don't have to have amazing skills online - we just want an ordinary person over 55 who has learned to use the internet and wants to inspire others who are nervous about taking the first step to get online.

Our Internet Champion will receive:

  • an all-expenses-paid trip to London for two days and one night;
  • high tea at a London location;
  • a free laptop computer;
  • a complete BT package including: BT Home Hub‚ Hub Phone 2.0‚ BT Total Broadband wireless internet for one year; and
  • travel and accommodation paid for all public engagement opportunities taken on behalf of the Charity.

The three runners-up will receive:

  • an all-expenses-paid trip to London for two days and one night;
  • high tea at a London location;
  • free BT broadband for one year;
  • a free laptop computer; and
  • travel and accommodation paid for all public engagement opportunities taken on behalf of the Charity.
