Many older people find looking after their garden becomes more difficult. If you need to find local assistance try asking your local Age Concern group as they have volunteers who sometimes help in this way. You should be able to find their number in your local telephone directory or by calling their Information Line on 0800 00 99 66.

You could also try asking your local Volunteer Bureau if they know of other local voluntary groups that could help. If you rent your house from the council they may help with gardening, though not all councils do this and there is usually a waiting list.
