You and your dentist

5. What if I'm not registered with a dentist?

Anyone who is not currently registered with an NHS dentist will be able to get advice and NHS treatment at a Dental Access Centre, or information on other local NHS dental services. You may have a Dental Access Centre in your area, especially if there is a lack of NHS dentists. But, you may find that your local Dental Access Centre will prioritise patients needing more urgent treatment. To find out whether there is a Dental Access Centre in your area, you can contact your local primary care trust.
