4. Hysterectomy

Hysterectomy is surgery to remove the womb (uterus). Generally, women can have sex about eight weeks after a hysterectomy. However, ask your doctor what they recommend. Having a hysterectomy can lead to feelings of being less 'womanly'. If you feel this is a big problem for you, try to talk about your feelings and ask for advice or counselling.
