Getting older means that certain health problems become more common. Here are some ideas to help reduce the impact they can have on your sex life.

Aches and pains

Conditions such as arthritis, poor circulation or problems with joints and muscles can make sexual activity an uncomfortable experience. Check with your GP that you have the best pain relieving medication available for your condition and try taking
painkillers before sex. Taking a warm (but not too hot) bath beforehand, using a different position and having sex in the morning when you are rested and relaxed can also be helpful.
