3. Does SeniorLink offer more than emergency response?

Yes, the SeniorLink service stretches far beyond emergency assistance. Our trained Response Team is on hand 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and is always happy to chat or offer reassurance, as well as providing assistance in an emergency.

SeniorLink offers a constant companion that you can call upon whenever you want to. You and your family can be happy in the knowledge that there will always be a friend at the end of the phone, whatever the time of day or night.

In some areas, Help the Aged also operates the SeniorLink Bogus Caller scheme, which can give you greater reassurance and security when answering the door to unexpected callers.

The Bogus Caller add-on will provide you with a 'door alert' button installed next to your front door. When the button is pressed, an immediate connection is made with an operator at the response centre who will offer assistance. For details, see the Bogus Caller page
