What we want
In a just and fair society, people should receive support on the basis of need, not age.
We want the Government to make financial assistance available to all disabled people, regardless of their age.
We're not calling for special treatment, just fair and equal treatment.
It is plainly unfair that if someone becomes ill after they are 65 they are denied Disability Living Allowance, yet if they have been claiming Disability Living Allowance before that age, they continue to receive it.
