What we are doing

Help the Aged is actively working to bring elder abuse out into the open.

  • We raise awareness of the problem through the media, community organisations, churches, Trade Unions and corporate partners.
  • We provide training on how to recognise the signs of elder abuse for all Help the Aged staff who have a frontline role with older people.
  • We produce information materials aimed at older people and the general public.
  • We offer training to older people on money management, teaming up with Barclays for the Your Money Matters programme.

But we need your support to ensure older people don't have to suffer in silence.
