Help the Aged has been campaigning for councils to ensure all pavements are kept in a good state of repair.
We asked you to report dangerous pavements to your council and you have responded by making hundreds of reports.
Every year, Help the Aged holds National Falls Awareness Day to raise awareness of the dangers of falls and how to prevent them. Our Preventing Falls advice section contains exercise materials, guides and other resources to help older people stay steady both in the home and outdoors.
