Become a major donor
One person can make a big difference to older people's lives.
We have a dedicated team to work closely with individual supporters who give £2,000 or more. We will ensure your gift is allocated according to your wishes, and can suggest projects that could benefit from your investment.
Why become a major donor?
You will improve the lives of disadvantaged older people and play a part in helping us achieve our vision of a world where older people flourish.
Your gift could support international development work
£80,000 will help 3,750 older people in Sudan to generate income by providing them with loans, livestock, agricultural tools and seeds.
£30,000 will fund a powerful campaign such as our Just Equal treatment campaign, which was pivotal in securing the Government's present commitment to making ageism illegal.
£10,000 will provide enough locks for a handy person to secure the homes of 1,000 older people, protecting them from burglary and bogus callers and reducing their fear of crime.
Your gift could fund biomedical research
£2,000 will enable scientists to study the impact of conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure on ‘white matter’ in the brain, taking us closer to saving the projected 1 million people at risk of dementia by 2026.
What benefits will you receive?
We will personally inform you of the progress of the work that you fund and, depending on your desired level of involvement, you can enjoy the following benefits:
- Private visits to see the work in person and gain insight into the impact of your support.
- Invitations to regular briefing events at which you can meet the programme experts.
- A dedicated member of staff to answer your questions and keep you informed of key developments.
In addition, we would be pleased to recognise your generosity in a variety of ways and are available to discuss these options with you. Alternatively, if you prefer, we will be happy to preserve your anonymity and you can be assured of our discretion.
