Trek China 2010
15 - 23 May
China is a country immersed in history, mythology and ancient traditions.
The Great Wall of China was originally constructed to keep out nomadic tribes who raided China's northern frontier. Now this majestic structure is waiting for you to explore - sign up to register your interest!
The trip of a lifetime
Set off on this trek and you will never look back! Different parts of this famous wall will be uncovered and each day you will trekking approximately 12km. It is demanding but very rewarding, particularly on a clear day with views of the vast mountain ranges stretching for miles.
On completion of your challenge you will return to Beijing to explore the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, the Lama Temple and other attractions.
You'll enjoy amazing experiences, see beautiful scenery and meet new people who could become life-long friends.
More importantly, by taking part, you will raise money to help us ensure a future where older people are free from the disadvantages of poverty, isolation and neglect, so they can live with dignity and respect as valued members of society.
