Cyclists on Brighton seafrontCycle London to Amsterdam

19-22 September 2008

Cycle your way into summer with our London to Amsterdam challenge!

Join our team in 2008 and cycle to one of the world's most famous cities, Amsterdam, with its iconic windmills, winding canals and flower-lined streets.

Sorry: entry has now closed for this event.

The route

Beginning at Stansted, the route takes in the beautiful Essex countryside, many historic villages and the famous Guildhall. You'll have a real chance to get to know your fellow team members as you take the ferry from Harwich.

The second stretch is along the coastline to the fishing port of Scheveningen, Holland's top costal resort. After lunch you'll cycle through Kennemerduinen Nature Reserve.

The final part of the challenge leads to Amsterdam's Vondelpark, the city's main park, which was beautifully landscaped in the late nineteenth century. The team will enjoy a celebration meal in the evening to toast their success!
