A Star for Christmas Wednesday 5th December 2007
The 5th annual A Star for Christmas concert took place on Wednesday 5th December at St Paul's Church in Covent Garden and provided the perfect way to celebrate the yuletide season whilst raising vital funds for disadvantaged older people.
The evening was a showbiz affair compered by GMTV Presenter Penny Smith. Joining her at the event was a host of celebrities including Lionel Blair, June Whitfield, Nichola McAuliffe and Jamie Glover (star of Waterloo Road) amongst many others.

The concert was directed by Sylvia Syms. It included Christmas carols sung by the celebrated RADA choir and a solo performance from Nicky Spence, as well as readings by celebrities from the Help the Aged Stage for Age Committee.
