- providing specialist transport vehicles to community groups and projects working with older people; and
- international programmes set up to tackle poverty by helping older people to get access to social protection and pensions.
Previous winners
Mr Wasdell, our lucky Christmas Raffle first prize winner from Worcestershire, said:
'When I received the letter announcing that I had won, I was so surprised and delighted. I read it over and over again and even asked my son to double check it when he came round to visit. I’m guarding the winning ticket stub very carefully, even taking it to bed with me each night so I don’t lose it!'
The first prize winner of our Autumn 2008 raffle, Mrs Skehan from London, said:
‘How fantastic! A lovely surprise, I’ve had a ghastly year so far so this is one of the best things that’s happened to me. I hope you made a lot of money through the raffle and I will certainly continue to buy tickets in the future.’
