Two girls in hats and scarves, with Help the Aged collecting tinsVolunteer collectors

Help the Aged has formed a partnership with B&Q and we need your help to make the most of this opportunity.

Charity partnerships

B&Q, the nationwide DIY retailer, is offering Help the Aged the opportunity to collect outside its stores on designated dates throughout the year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for Help the Aged not only to raise funds but also to raise awareness of our work. Volunteering is a simple way to get involved with Help the Aged and make a real difference.

There are 8,760 hours in the year – we are only asking for two!

When are the collections in 2010?

  • 27th / 28th March
  • 19th / 20th June
  • 2nd / 3rd October
  • 4th / 5th December

How you can help

If you can help out on any of these dates, or would like more information, please email Maribeth Lloyds at maribeth.lloyds@helptheaged.org.uk or call 020 7239 1474. This won't commit you to any of the collections but is just a way of expressing your interest.
