Shop Volunteers
We are always on the lookout for new volunteers who can spare a morning, afternoon or even a few days each week to help us raise funds for disadvantaged older people.
Help the Aged has over 365 shops throughout the country and like any other retail business on the high street, it takes exactly the same skills to run them profitably.
There are lots of reasons to volunteer for Help the Aged:

- you can make new friends;
- you'll be part of our front line team;
- it's a positive way to use your free time;
- you'll gain confidence and develop new skills; and
- you'll know that your donated time gave someone somewhere a better life.
In return we can offer free membership to our exclusive 'Shops Volunteer Club' which offers:
- 20 per cent discount in all the Help the Aged shops;
- free activities and social events;
- discounts on products and services;
- a free quarterly magazine; and
- a diary, gifts, birthday and Christmas cards.
