How you will help

• Minor maintenance like changing a light bulb, fixing a wonky shelf or changing a plug;
• Helping to keep the shop safe for our staff, volunteers and customers; and 
• the odd lick of paint from time to time wouldn't go amiss!

How much time do I have to give?

We will always try to be as flexible as possible however most volunteers come in for one or two four hour shifts a week.

How do I join the team?

The best way to become a volunteer with Help the Aged is to download and print the joining form on this page, take it with you into your local shop and speak to the shop manager. If you have the time, the manager will take you through a 'taster session' so you can see if volunteering is for you.
