Donate goods
We urgently need clothing, accessories and textiles to help us continue our vital work supporting older people.
Help the Aged shops function like mini recycling centres. Clear out unwanted clothes, household textiles, books, cds and bric-a-brac while helping older people and doing your part for the environment.
What can you donate?
- Clothes for all ages and occasions From baby wear to ball gowns, summer dresses to winter woolies, if you're clearing out your wardrobe or creating a bit more drawer space, we can sell on any good quality clothing you can donate.
- Home furnishings Soft furnishings have plenty of life left even when you have grown tired of them. Donations such as curtains and linen are always welcome.
- Bric-a-brac or knick-knacks If it can be used practically in the home, hung on the wall or placed on a shelf and you don't want it anymore, then we would love to receive it.
- Play time If you or your family are fed up playing with games and toys, the jigsaw is no longer a puzzle and you no longer want to listen or watch those CDs, DVDs and video tapes, why not give them to us? We also need all types of books.
- Accessories If your jewellery has lost its sparkle or your shoes their shine, why not drop them off at your local shop together with any gloves, hats or scarves you no longer want?

Fill up a Help the Aged donation bag left at your home
From time to time our stock collectors will post a Help the Aged donation bag through your door. Simply fill this bag with your donations and leave it in a visible place outside your home on the day indicated on the bag.
Request a collection
Our van drivers are only able to make individual collections if you have the equivalent of ten or more bags, as less than this has proven to be uneconomical to the charity.
If you have any queries concerning donations and collections please call 01925 859525.
What can we recycle?
Not only is it environmentally friendly to donate used toners, ink cartridges and mobile phones, but it helps us to raise funds as well.
