Toners
It takes 1.5 pints of oil to make a toner cartridge. Recycle your cartridges for Help the Aged and help older people, reduce landfill and preserve resources.
Please check our list of toners and inkjets (PDF) to confirm that we are able to recycle the type of cartridges you have. We cannot recycle cartridges that are not on this list.
Post your inkjet cartridges
If you have a small number of inkjet cartridges you can request some freepost envelopes.
Box up your toner cartridges
If you have 15 or more toner cartridges (or a combination of toner and inkjet cartridges), just put them in a cardboard box and we'll collect them for free. You can download a Help the Aged label (PDF) for your box.
Please call 020 7239 1869 or email us to arrange your collection. If you are in Northern Ireland please call 02890 230 666.
Take your cartridges to a shop
If you only have a few cartridges you can take them to your local Help the Aged shop.
Please note: we can't recycle cartridges that are not on our list of toners and inkjets (PDF) or cartridges which have already been recycled.
Buy your cartridges from us
You can buy printer toner cartridges and inkjets direct from Help the Aged. A percentage of the profits go towards our work helping disadvantaged older people. Find out more and place your order on the My Cartridge website.
