Recycle your cartridges for Help the Aged - you will help older people, reduce landfill and preserve resources.
There are many ways you can help:
Arrange a free collection
We use Reclaim-it, a company that arranges cartridge recycling on behalf of charities.
- Check that you have at least 15 original cartridges from our list of acceptable cartridges (PDF,30k).
- In England, Scotland and Wales, call 01635 876900 or email info@reclaim-it.com; in Northern Ireland, call 02890 230 666.
- State that you would like the funds to go to Help the Aged.
Box up your toner cartridges
To ensure the cartridges don’t get damaged in transit, please store them either in their original boxes (Reclaim-it can provide you with a sack to put these in) or in an old cardboard box. You can download a Help the Aged label (PDF) for your box.
Post your inkjet cartridges
Check your cartridges are on the list of acceptable toner inkjet cartridges (PDF,30k) and send them to:

Take your cartridges to a shop
If you only have a few cartridges you can take them to your local Help the Aged shop.

You can buy printer toner cartridges and inkjets direct from Help the Aged. A percentage of the profits go towards our work helping disadvantaged older people.

Donate new or unused cartridges
If you have unwanted and unused cartridges, contact Reclaim-it on 01635 876900. Remember to state that you want the proceeds to go to Help the Aged.
