Care fees advice

Specialist Care Fees advisers provide impartial advice, helping you find the best way to pay for ongoing care.

Taking the worry out of paying for care

If you, or a family member, are facing an immediate need for care, and have savings or capital of more than £23,000, you can expect little help from the State towards your care fees.

This Care Fees Advice service is provided by NHFA, our chosen firm of Independent Financial Advisers and Care Fees specialists. NHFA Care Fees Advisers provide specialist financial advice, helping you find the best way to pay for care fees.

The service is designed to provide peace of mind, keeping you safe in the knowledge that care can be paid for as long as it is needed and that your savings are preserved, where possible, to leave as an inheritance or spend as you wish.

What's involved?

Once you have completed and returned your Care Fees Planning Questionnaire, or filled in the online application form, an NHFA Care Fees Adviser will contact you and, if you wish, arrange to visit you at home to discuss your needs in more detail. Once the Adviser fully understands your needs and wishes, they will prepare a tailored report fully outlining the different ways you might wish to consider funding your immediate or future care needs.

There is no obligation for you to follow any of the Adviser's recommendations at any time.

Who provides the advice?

Help the Aged's Care Fees Advice service is provided by NHFA. NHFA is a division of HSBC Bank plc which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Age Concern and Help the Aged will benefit financially as a result of business conducted through this service.

How do I apply?

To take advantage of the Care Fees Advice service, complete and submit the online application form

If you have any queries, please call the Care Fees Advice Line between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday on Freefone 0500 767476.
