Help the Aged is wholly funded by donations. In 2006/07 we received income of £79.6 million, from a variety of sources.
- £18.3m of our income came from members of the public in the form of donations and gifts
- £17m from legacies
- £3.1m from our nationwide network of shops
- £5.8m came from other sources including grants

Other sources of income
Merchandising, events and sponsorship all help us to raise money. We receive grants from foundations, central and regional government and EU sources, either directly or for co-funded projects. We also share funding with other UK charities that support the objectives of Help the Aged.
